CONNECTIONS


Colliers Wood is on the Northern Line underground (tube)
line. It’s on zone 3, the third stop from the south end of
the line which terminates at Morden

NIGHT BUSES

There is only one night bus that runs
between central London and
Colliers Wood, number 155

It runs between Aldwych (Trafalgal Square) and
Morden stopping at all of the Northern Line
tube stations from Elephant &
Castle southwards

(Please note during the day it terminates
at St Georges Hospital in Tooting)



Colliers Wood is also served by night buses

57 which which runs between Kingston 
and Clapham Park and 131/N87 which runs 
between Kingston and Tooting.

TRAM

The nearest tram stops to Colliers Wood are
Phipps Bridge
(bus 200 from Colliers Wood tube
station towards Mitcham) and Merton Park
(bus 152 from Collies Wood tube towards
New Malden) (See maps below)

The tram terminates at Wimbledon. The tram stop is at
the tube/overland train station. Buses 57, 131,
219 from Colliers Wood tube station
towards South Wimbledon

The tram runs between Wimbledon and New
Addington, Beckenham Junction and
Elmers End to the east






 

The bus stops at Colliers Wood are just
outside the tube station.

For the 57, 131 and 219 towards WIMBLEDON
come out of the station and turn RIGHT, walk for
about 30 meters. The stop is on the same side of
the road as the tube station opposite
the Esso petrol station

Towards TOOTING the stop is on the same side
of the road as the petrol station

For the 152, 200 and 470 towards MITCHAM come
out of the tube station and turn LEFT. The stop is
right in front of you outside Spice Of Raj Indian
restaurant. The stop towards WIMBLEDON is
on the other side of the street

CONNECTIONS TO THE
NEAREST AIRPORTS


HEATHROW


Buses 57, 131, 200 or 219 to Wimbledon, then the
District Line tube to Earls Court. Change
there to the Piccadilly Line eastbound
all the way to Heathrow

If you want to take the tube all the way get the
Northern Line from Colliers Wood to Stockwell,
change there to the Victoria Line northbound to
Green Park, change there to the Piccadilly
Line eastbound all the way to Heathrow

GATWICK

Take the bus 200 from Colliers Wood tube station
(towards Mitcham) to Phipps Bridge tram stop.
Get the tram to East Croydon train station and 

catch an overland train to Gatwick. The train
takes about 15 minutes

Or get the bus 152 from Colliers Wood tube
station (towards Wimbledon) to Merton Park
tram stop. Get the tram to East Croydon and
catch and overland train to Gatwick



DETAILED PUBLIC TRANSPORT ROUTES TO
THE NEAREST MAJOR SHOPPING AREAS

EAST CROYDON

Take bus 200 from Colliers Wood tube station to Phipps Bridge. The nearest stop to the tram stop is called "Frensham Court" on Phipps's Bridge Road. When you get off the bus carry on walking ahead to the same direction and the alley to the tram platform is about a three minute walk away on the right. It's clearly signposted. Take the tram from Phipps Bridge to either Centrale or West Croydon for the pedestrian route North End through the town centre and both the Centrale and Whitgift shopping centres (see map below)




Back towards Colliers Wood

Get the tram from the Church Street tram stop to Phipps Bridge. The stop for the bus 200 towards Colliers Wood is just round the corner from the tram stop. See map below




WIMBLEDON

Take bus 57,131 or 219 from Colliers Wood High Street opposite Tesco or bus 200 from outside Colliers Wood tube station (opposite Costcutter). All of these will take you directly to the centre of Wimbledon for the Centre Court shopping centre and the shops along Wimbledon's main shopping street The Broadway.

Buses 57,131 and 219 get off at the Hartfield Road stop (the stop is called "Wimbledon Station", it's the one after "Wimbledon Bus Station")

Bus 200 get off at "Wimbledon Police Station" on Queen's Road

Back towards Colliers Wood

Take the bus 57,131 or 219 from outside the Centre Court Shopping centre  
or any of the stops along The Broadway (see map below) or bus 200 from the stop on Queens Road to the side of the shopping centre. 




KINGSTON

Take bus 57 or 131 from the stop opposite Tesco all the way to Kingston's "Fairfield Bus Station". It is the last stop of the route towards Kingston for both buses 57 and 131. From there it's short walk into the centre of Kingston and the two major shopping areas surrounding the pedestrian Clarence Street (see map below)




Back towards Colliers Wood

Take the bus 57 or 131 from stop E2 "Eden Street" outside Santander bank (see map below) 




WANDSWORTH

Take the tube to Tooting Broadway. From the tube station go over the road to the left, towards Halifax. Walk past Halifax and get bus 44 or 270 from the stop N "Garratt Lane" (see map below) 



 
In Wandsworth get off at either stop "Mapleton Road" (for the South entrance to the shopping centre) or "Southside Shopping centre" slightly further up the road (which is nearer to the North entrance.) See map below




Back towards Tooting Broadway

The stop for the 44 and 270 ("Mapleton Road") is outside Sainsbury's on the other side of the road from the Southside shopping centre.
